Notice is hereby given that a special constituency session of the Illinois Conference of Seventh-day Adventists will be held at Broadview Academy, LaFox, Illinois, with the meeting called at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, June 13, 2004. This session is for the purpose of considering the future of Broadview Academy; and to transact such other business as may properly come before the constituency. Delegates are those duly elected by the churches of the conference and delegates-at-large as provided in the constitution. Each church is entitled to one delegate for the organization and one additional delegate for each fifty members or fraction thereof, based on actual church membership as of September 30 of the year preceding the meeting.

The Andrews University School of Education is scheduled for a NCATE accreditation review, November 2004. NCATE recognizes that graduates, parents, schools, community organizations, and other parties have valuable perspectives on the quality of the programs that prepare teachers and other school personnel, and invites those parties to submit written testimony to the NCATE office. Comments should be postmarked no later than June 30, 2004, and addressed to: Board of Examiners, c/o NCATE, 2010 Massachusetts Ave. NW, Suite 500, Washington, D.C. 20036-1023; or via e-mail to callforcomments@ncate.org.
Letters must address substantive matters related to the quality of professional education programs offered, and should specify the respondents relationship, if any, to the institution. Copies of all correspondence will be forwarded to the institution before the accreditation review. No anonymous letters will be considered.
