Dear Readers,
As we near the press deadline for this July issue, I am sitting here in my office thinking back over the past eight years that I have been on the Lake Union Herald production team. How difficult it is to say "goodbye" to you our readers and to my Lake Union colleagues who have become my close friends and prayer partners. But life in this great Advent movement moves on. This is my last issue as managing editor.
My husband, Jim, has accepted a call to Walla Walla College in College Place, Washington. So we are moving west, closer to our family roots. I'm not sure what the future holds for me yet, but I trust the Lord will provide me with a ministry as enjoyable and fulfilling as this one has been.
Thank you for the many kind words of appreciation you have shared with me. As our paths divide, I want to challenge you to continue your spiritual journeys with this thought. "The strongest argument in favor of the gospel is a loving and lovable Christian" (E.G.W., MH 470).
God bless you all,
Ann
