Hinsdale Hospital has undergone a few name changes as it progressed from the sanitarium program of its early years to being one of the few community hospitals in Illinois to offer tertiary level care. For a century, it has remained strong in its mission of whole-person care, and its latest name change reflects that as well.
"Adventist Midwest Health is an organization that shares the Seventh-day Adventist heritage of service to God and to the community, dedication to the healing mission of Christ and providing whole-person care to our patients," said Ernie Sadau, Adventist Midwest Health president and CEO, in announcing the addition of Adventist to the front of each of its facilities' names.
