Dolores Shudarek worked as a hospital chaplain for 30 years, bringing comfort, love, and thoughtful words to the patients she encountered. During those years, her heart felt the tug of the Holy Spirit leading her in a quest for more truth. As Dolores reviewed the beliefs she had been taught, she had a growing compulsion to discover something more satisfying and meaningfulthe real thing. In order to reach this goal, she resigned from her work as a hospital chaplain, and began to attend various churches. Still not satisfied with what she was told or taught, her search continued.
Providentially, Dolores received an announcement to the Adventures in Prophecy meetings being conducted in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, by Ric Swaningson, Wisconsin Conference evangelist. After Dolores attended her first meeting, she felt that what she heard from the speaker and read from her Bible was just what she had been looking for. She fell in love with the Bible messages and the assurance and clear ring of rightness they brought to her.
Earlier in life, Dolores had written numerous poems. Her new experience with Jesus Christ caused the joys of writing poetry to return. When she visited the Wisconsin Camp Meeting and told her conversion story to the audience, Nancy Morauske and the evangelist took the words from a poem about her new Christian walk and composed them into a new song, "The Dolores Song... I Am Sealed.

The Dolores Song...I Am Sealed
Jesus came and rescued me,
When I was running to and fro in search of a belief.
He led me to the truth of His Word,
And so I offer Him this prayer, this verse.
For me You died on Calvarys Hill,
That You could pay my ransom bill.
Thank You, Jesus, for Your precious blood,
That saved me from this world's sinful flood.
I left the darkness of a bondage land,
Now Im connected Lord to Your holy band.
Your ten commandments, Father how much I love,
You gave them to me from above.
Ill not allow Your Word to be watered down,
For I would into Satans pit surely drown.
By Your Word I am healed,
To keep the Sabbath, I am sealed.
Jesus, You are my Hope and my Glory,
And Ill keep on telling Your story.
In Your Remnant Church I desire,
In Your end-time harvest, Lord,
Set me on fire!
A true keeper of Your Word,
Father, this is my test,
For in You blessed Jesus is my only rest.
For by Your Word I am healed,
To keep your Sabbath I am sealed.
Jesus You are my Hope and my Glory,
Come help me share,
Come help me share,
Oh Jesus,
Come help me share Your story,
Jesus came and rescued me.
When I was running to and fro,
In search of a belief,
He led me to the truth of His Word,
And I thank You blessed Jesus for all I have learned.
