In a statement released Tuesday, June 16, 2026, Andrews University President John Wesley Taylor V shared the following update for qualifying denominational employee families planning to send their children to Andrews University.
If you serve the Seventh-day Adventist Church as a denominational employee, here is news worth celebrating! Beginning this fall, your son or daughter may qualify to attend Andrews University with full undergraduate tuition covered.
The Church has long stood behind the families of those who serve it, and through the Andrews University Denominational Tuition Guarantee, we are glad to stand with you, closing the gap so that an Andrews education is within reach for your family.
Your employing denominational entity provides its standard tuition assistance, which must cover at least 70% of undergraduate tuition. Andrews University coordinates its institutional aid with this benefit to provide a Tuition Guarantee Scholarship covering the remaining gap, bringing tuition coverage up to a full 100%.
A qualifying student for the Denominational Tuition Guarantee Scholarship must be “admitted and registered as a new full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate student; eligible for denominational tuition assistance under applicable North American Division (NAD) working policy; receive denominational tuition assistance equal to at least 70% of Andrews University undergraduate tuition from the sponsoring conference, union, division, or other approved denominational employer; reside in Andrews University residential housing unless otherwise approved by the University; maintain continuous enrollment and satisfy all applicable University academic, enrollment, and scholarship renewal requirements.”
