For the first time in recent memory, Andrews University Wind Symphony and Choral will be featured in the annual Christmas Concert shown on WNIT, the local PBS station. The program will air on Friday, December 20 at 10 p.m. and again on Tuesday, December 24 at 8:30 p.m.
The Andrews University Christmas concert which featured both the Wind Symphony and Choral were professionally recorded on Friday night, December 6 and Saturday, December 7. Selections from each night were extracted and combined into a one hour program which will air on Friday, December 20, at 10 p.m. on WNIT, South Bend PBS station, channel 34.
"I think it is a wonderful opportunity for our wider community to hear the wonderful music being performed at Andrews! In addition to the promotional aspect, the program includes a number of wonderful sacred works that will hopefully remind viewers of Christ’s birth," said Wind Symphony Director, Byron Graves.
