The NAD has a special process set up to host all of the unions at different intervals for the virtual testing. Pictured here is Lake Region Youth Director, Abraham Henry.
Some were totally in person (with pandemic precautions), some a mix of in person and virtual, and others were totally virtual.
In the end, 15 teams have advanced to the union level for testing on Sabbath, March 27. Due to Covid, the testing will be virtual. Although it is sad that we cannot be together this year, this will give the Pathfinders a new experience! The NAD has a special process set up to host all of the unions at different intervals for the virtual testing. Training will be provided to the teams before the testing takes place.
Each year, teams of six club members study a book of the Bible (alternating Old Testament and New Testament), memorizing large portions of God's word.
This year, the teams have been studying the books of Hebrews, James, 1st & 2nd Peter. The testing takes them through ninety questions. The young people must answer the questions by writing the answer and those teams answering correctly within 90% of the top score are invited to the next level of testing.
There are four levels of competition - Area, Conference, Union, and Division. The Pathfinders are tested over the assigned study books as well as the SDA Bible Commentary Introduction to each study book.
