MOKENA, ILLINOIS - The Executive Committee of the Lake Region Conference voted for the following appointments. Dr. Abraham Henry has been appointed to begin serving as the Associate Executive Secretary while continuing in his current position of Youth Director.
On Sunday, February 27th, 2022, the Lake Region Conference Executive Committee voted to appoint Pastor Earl Baldwin as Associate Youth Director and Pastor Ariel Padron as Associate Youth Director for their Hispanic Churches.
Pastor Earl Baldwin is currently the pastor of Elkhart Bethany Chapel and South Bend Praise Fellowship. God has used Pastor Baldwin and his family as agents of change to bring healing and hope back to the lives of many through evangelistic meetings, counseling, personal Bible study and small group studies. He is married to Jennikka Baldwin and God has blessed this family with five children: Gabriel, Michael, Ariel, Isabel and Zion. This family is determined to be God’s hands, feet and body while blessed with life. And they try to live by a simple motto Do Justly, Love Mercy and Walk humbly with their God.
Pastor Ariel Padron is currently pastor of Chicago Logan Square Spanish Church. A native of Pinar del Rio, Cuba, Pastor Padron began denominational service in June, 1994 and graduated from the Adventist Seminary in Cuba in 1998. He is married to the former Mileydis Rodriguez and they are proud parents of an adult son, Moses and one daughter, Keyla. Being a great youth leader, he has developed in the direction of the Youth Department, pathfinders, adventurers, senior guides and FEHJA. He has been a member of the Lake Region Conference family since 2010.
