Thank you to all the physicians, dentists, optometrists and their friends and families who took part in the two-day Lake Union Provider Well-Being Conference last week in Oak Brook, Ill. The conference served as an uplifting and joyous opportunity to recharge personally and professionally with other Seventh-day Adventist medical professionals.
Lake Union Conference’s director of Adventist Community Health Initiative, Randy Griffin, says he was pleased with the outcome. “The entire AMP Conference weekend event exceeded our expectations for a first-time event.” He said that while there were many unknowns to work through, thanks to an efficient steering committee which met quarterly to guide the process, the event was a success. The theme of the weekend was Reconnect, Renew, Rejuvenate, and Griffin says that’s precisely what took place socially, spiritually and physically.”
Griffin says he’s already planning for the 2019 Adventist Medical Providers Conference, so stay tuned for date and location announcements.
