It is the first time the Children's Leadership Conference has been held separate from Club Ministries training, representing a significant boost for both areas. Leaders no longer must choose which track to attend—they can now do both.
This event took place at Andrews University on Oct. 29, with more than 60 leaders from Michigan, Lake Region, Indiana, and Illinois, enjoying this training in English and Spanish under the theme "Garden of Faith. Growing a Faith that Lasts a Lifetime." The main topic was Teaching Children, which is one of the Certification Tracks from NAD Children’s Ministries department and was presented by four NAD trainers.
Concluding, the exit survey revealed that participants were excited about the event, with testimonies like this: "I am inspired and reignited to the mission and vision of children's ministry!!! I absolutely loved the practical examples in the storytelling. Thank you for some necessary tools for success!!!"
